| | Donation OpportunitiesCrossfire Ministries can only exist with donations from generous individuals like yourself. Only on a very few occasions does Crossfire Ministries ask for funds from individuals. It is our belief that God directs people to give and at the same time guides the ministry with supply of funds or lack of supply. We are a 510C3 corporation and therefore are able to give tax receipts for each donation, large or small. Check out the different ways in which you can give to Crossfire Ministries. - Cash Gifts
Cash gifts (cash, personal checks, money orders or cashiers checks) can be mailed or brought directly to: Crossfire Ministries 307 N. Union Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80909 Unless requested otherwise, all such identifiable gifts will be acknowledged and recorded. An end-of-year giving statement will be sent for tax purposes. - Stocks or bonds
Crossfire Ministries has an account with T. Rowe Price for the transfer of stocks and bonds. We recommend that you talk to your accountant before transferring in order to maximize the gift and minimize any potential penalty. The tax laws often change and give opportunities to transfer up to certain amounts from specified types of accounts without paying penalties or capital gains, etc. So please check with your professional. Unless requested otherwise, all such identifiable gifts will be acknowledged and recorded. An end-of-year giving statement will be sent for tax purposes. - As part of your estate or inheritance planning
Crossfire can also be made part of your will. There are several ways to set this up such as trust funds, living wills, etc. Crossfire could be made beneficiary of a life insurance policy. It is important to talk to your professional to determine which is the best way for you. If you do not have a professional financial advisor, Crossfire has a good C.P.A. with whom we would gladly put you in contact. - Vehicles, jewelry or other special items
Crossfire accepts gifts of special items. The amount you can claim on donated vehicles is determined by the amount for which Crossfire is able to sell the vehicle. If you should have any other questions about these types of donations call John at 719-650-4152. Unless requested otherwise, all such identifiable gifts will be acknowledged and recorded. An end-of-year giving statement will be sent for tax purposes. - In-kind Gifts of Labor
Crossfire appreciates different helps of labor. Some gifts in the past have included accounting, car work, computer programming to name a few. We are praying for a gift of cleaning service. Do you have a gift of labor that you might be willing to donate? - Matchmaker Fund
Crossfire Ministries has been given a wonderful opportunity in 2007. A donor has stepped forward and will match any cash or stock cash gift up to $50,000. That is your $1.00 becomes $2.00, your $100.00 becomes $200.00, your $1000.00 becomes $2000.00 or your $50,000 becomes $100,000. Please specify such gifts as Matchmaker. We would so greatly appreciate any gift, large or small, in order to help meet this $50,000 goal. These funds are a capital campaign and will be used to pay off all debt on the existing properties. When that is accomplished funds will then be used to start the process of building a larger two-story building (11,000 square feet) designed and approved for the existing site. Please prayerfully consider giving to Crossfire to help us enlarge, operate more efficiently, and serve more needy clients in our area.
| " For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat, I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick and ye visited me: I was in prison and ye came unto me...In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
Matthew 25:35-40
